OK, the last one, I hope, you can in the reply above see the difference between a trouser dot from Barry and a Janke Jackett in dot 43.... The Janke Muster is complete, not 80% there is the whole printpattern..... 8)-- attachment is not available ---- attachment is not available ---- attachment is not available --

Yes there is a lot of interest in our country, it is not the best solution, to forbidd everything and bann everything, the people want to know, we did mistakes, big foults, but our soldiers fought with honour and brave and that the 68th want to make this forgotten is wrong..... to talk about, would bring out all those things out of the right wing corner..... thats my opinion. :!:

Just a few ideas Gadge, I have of course also the black evening dress uniform (perhaps nobody knows) it was a strict order for the SS, that the one and only evening and "dress" uniform was the black uniform, it haves nothing to do with any NSDAP shit, it is like this. The only difference is, that the Waffen SS allways was allowed to wear the military shoulderboards and instead of the Party Swastika Armband (which some member of your royal family wears sometimes 8) ) they had the the national eagle on the arm. Like I told some of you allready, do this hobby since 17 years now, I realy love it and I like to help where I can, its my personal fun.... The only thing I am now searching for is, a german Kriegsflagge (Battleflag) printed on cotton, not any kind of Taiwan shit, I realy want a flag that I can hang up in my headquarter and I must not be worry that my Obersturmbannführer will kick me in the a... because I have there some Taiwan Fantasy flag.... may some of you have some ideas. Would be glad for any help or idea where I could get one. I had a cataloge from England where they had those flags, but the german secret police took it and it never returns too me...... :banghead:

I believe Reich Stuff does the battle flag. Next time you come over here, I'll get one for you.

Interesting about the black uniform, as I have always (mistakenly, obviously!) thought that it was reserved for the allgemeine SS units. If the Waffen SS wore it as a dress uniform, it's going to cost me more money to put one together for "socials"! It's such a stylish uniform but I've always shied away from it as I thought it was an exclusively "nazi" thing and I've never wanted to be branded a nazi.

When I want your opinion - I'll tell you what it is!

Yeah, it was politely explained to me by Peter at the training day when I mistook Ade for Allegemeine... :slap: Does look awesome, that uniform, but I wouldn't want to be mistaken myself. Lucky I'm heer/budding Luftwaffe!

Better keep a officers Garbadine Uniform and forgett the black one, I think allways the same, that the people will look strange at you and you will get branded as a NAZI. The normal persons dont know this and I think it is better, we keep it like his. ut if you will visit the Second battle Group Homepage and look to the Christmas events, the socials, then you will see what I mean, they are reenavtors and knows the laws from the last century well.

Hello, camouflage, the best book I have come accross is the book by Beaver and Borsarello, 'camouflage uniform of the Waffen-ss'
chock full of colour photos, it took two months to save up to buy it......
well worth the money though, the book shows oakleaf 'a' and 'b' as well as peadot, early oakleaf tunics had eagles and shoulder strap fixings applied
at the factory.
